The public scoping period begins when the DAF formally announces the intent to develop an EIS. During the scoping period, the public and agencies are encouraged to provide comments on the project, alternatives, resources to be analyzed, and other information relevant to the EIS.
To ensure that DAF has sufficient time to consider public comments in the Draft EIS, comments were requested by March 22, 2024. While the formal comment period has ended; you can still submit a comment to the project team via the methods below.
